School events are about more than just equipment and timetables — they’re about atmosphere, confidence and helping everyone feel welcome.
At Dancing Beans, I support schools, PTAs and community groups by providing reliable PA, clear announcements, carefully chosen music and friendly, professional compèring to help events run smoothly and feel genuinely enjoyable.
Whether it’s a bustling summer fair, a festive Christmas fete, a fireworks night or a school fun day, I take care of the sound, music and hosting so organisers can relax and enjoy the day alongside parents and children. I play carefully selected, school-appropriate music to create a warm, upbeat atmosphere without ever overpowering the event. Throughout the day, I also promote key activities as required — from stalls, attractions and performances to prize draws, food offers and important reminders — ensuring nothing is missed and everyone feels informed and involved.
From welcoming guests to sharing announcements, introducing performers and keeping things moving at the right pace, I bring a calm, friendly presence that supports staff and volunteers. My approach is flexible and responsive, adapting to what’s happening on the day and what your school needs in that moment.
I’ve had the pleasure of compèring hundreds of fairs and fetes over the years, developing a style that works well for family audiences and school communities. Alongside this, I’ve hosted large-scale family events, including mini discos for over 2,000 guests at Godstone Farm’s Fireworks Mini Festivals and laser shows for schools, meaning I’m comfortable with both small gatherings and large crowds.
